9" by 12" pencil sketch of the champion race horse John Henry. I saw a photo of him and saw it as a challenge for canvas. So this is the result of the initial drawing on canvas.
8" by 10" Acrylic painting on canvas of one tiger roaring and the running towards whoever is looking at them. Initially I did this because I felt that the tiger is not represented enough in artistic circles.
9" by 12" pastel and paint of roses on paper. I did this just as a challenge of combining paint and pastel and besides I like roses

About

It started with me drawing horses and seeing that I did a reasonably good job and wanted to expand my talents. So I read about drawing other animals besides horses and thus taught my self how to draw and paint. After all the best teacher is trial and error. That is how the greats have done it in  the past and that is how I do it today. Not through formal education but trying out new ideas and see how they fit.

And as my skill increased so has my passion for drawing and painting other beings besides horses as you can see when you look through my site. Also by goimg through my site you see what I am most passionate about, what drives me to apply paint to canvas and pencil to paper. My art is my story, my passion. And I hope you enjoy it.
